Seniors Ten Truths
10. I am paying for digital pictures, but I can just take my own.
It is true that you can take your own pictures, but we can offer you a memory. With our background, props and outdoor locations we can offer you something more beyond what you already know. Plus we can provide the effects and high quality that you find so COOL in magazines.
9. It is too expensive for me to go with a high end studio.
It is true that quality cost money, but Photique works with each client individually so that you can get what you need at an affordable cost. We also provide payment plans and savings collections starting at $169.00. If you give us a chance I am sure we can change your mind!
8. There are too many hidden fees and little choices with senior pictures.
It is true that some studios charge for every little minor thing and provide you with little, but Photique has worked hard to fine tune our prices to meet your needs. We have included more poses in our collections and we have also created some new items that can be a great addition to your collection. Our hope is to provide you with what you want for a cost you can agree with. We are always upfront about our pricing, so if you have any questions just ask.
7. I have to have my yearbook picture taken with the school photographer.
It is true that your school may have contracted your photographer to do all of the one-shots in your yearbook, but that doesn’t mean that they control the pictures you send out at graduation to friends and family. You have the right to choose who you think can capture the best aspects of you.
6. I want unique pictures but everything I see is so cookie cutter.
It is true that some photography studios have scenery and lighting already set so that all you have to do is come sit and smile. Here at Photique we have various backdrops and props that are moved and set up to communicate what we feel expresses your personality. We also love when you speak up and tell us what you need or how you want things to look. PLUS, we encourage you to bring things that express you whether that be your case of trophies and dirt bike or your collection of spoons…this is about YOU!
5. I am not a model, but I want my pictures still look Awesome.
It is true that not everyone can be a model, but Photique will work with you to bring out your best features and make you look like a model.
4. I don’t want the same old thing, I want to have something that is really edgy and contemporary.
It is true that some pictures will be traditional, because that is what mom and dad like, but we can digitally enhance and change anything to meet your artistic needs. During your session we will take a variety of poses that offer the best of both worlds.
3. I don’t want to wear what everyone else is wearing.
It is true that some studios may advise against clothing or tell you what to wear, but Photique wants your personality to shine through. What better expression than to wear what makes you shine and is most comfortable. If you ask, we will give you ideas, but we love to see what you come up with on your own.
2. I have to pay for my session and then my Portraits.
It is true that some studios include session and portrait in one nice neat little package but they also only provide you with one pose and sometimes more hidden fees. Here we charge for sessions because we provide a variety of styles to meet your needs as well as personal time with a professional photographer. Some sessions cost less than others and you will spend less time with your photographer. This can mean more or less selection and the choice is completely up to you. Tell us what you are looking for and we will help to provide that.
